Atlanta Mission 2017 FYE Report
Atlanta Mission is a nonprofit located in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. They provide emergency shelter, rehab and recovery services, vocational training, and transitional housing serving thousands of homeless men, women, and children every year. Donations are vital to this organization. In this campaign, they wanted to move people to see the hearts of the homeless in Atlanta and show that homelessness effects very real people, just like you and me. Large, bright, hopeful images connect the audience with these people, helping to fight the stigma of homelessness, and show the humanity behind this epidemic.
In association with Dresden Design
At Atlanta Mission, the patrons are the heart of their organization. For this issue, they wanted to highlight the story of a mother and daughter, Maria and Mercedes, and how they found restoration and hope in their lives.
Themes of movement, forwardness, velocity, and progress were woven throughout the booklet. One page featured an arrow-shaped die-cut to add visual interest.
The booklet was supported by a strong brand, a rich black and gold, and a logo mark that captures the true meaning behind Atlanta Mission: a safe haven for Atlanta’s most vulnerable and a beacon for restoring hope.
Gift Commitment Form
In addition to the booklet, a gift commitment form was included to every recipient. This was provided so that anyone who wanted to support financially could simply fill it out and mail it back with the included return envelope.
