Breast Cancer Awareness Gift Box
For Breast Cancer Awareness month, Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg funded a campaign to provide support in the form of gifts, notes and community through their mailing boxes. A participant was able to purchase the empty box, accompanied with an instruction booklet and a note card for a personal message. They then were able to fill the box up with goodies for women currently enduring breast cancer and breast cancer treatments, such as chemotherapy. In addition, the campaign highlighted the importance and potentially life-changing action that mammography can have for women in the fight against breast cancer.
In association with Story Collaborative
The chosen theme was “[Together] we are greater than cancer.” This concept was represented with the geometric shapes of the well-known breast cancer awareness ribbon, and various branded pinks from the MIF brand.
On average, around four in every ten women over the age of 40 do not take advantage of the mammogram technology. This information was used to create a pattern that was used throughout the campaign. The call to action supported MIF by encouraging women to get scanned for prevention.
Instruction Booklet & Personal Note
Inside every box was a note card to send a personal message of encouragement, as well as a pamphlet that provided information about the fight against breast cancer and ways that the giver of the box could best support these women.
